The 72 Korea Trip 2008 participants
also enjoyed interesting sightseeing and cultural experiences. Some of the
places visited were Haeundae Beach- Apec meeting site, Kyung Ju- Bul Kuk Sa
and
Suk Gul Am.
The participants were also able to enjoy one
day visit to Gul Kuk Sa Temple for “temple stay” where they experience the
temple living and also learned Sunmudo.
6th International Martial Arts Championships and Masters’
Exhibition
The 6th International
Martial Arts Championships and Master’s Exhibition was successfully conducted on
March 23, 2008 in Busan, Korea. With over 1000 competitors from Korea, United
States, Canada,
Brazil, Sweden, Australia,
Spain, Turkey and Panama, the competition was intense
and exciting. The Master’s Exhibition
highlighted incredible skills from both the Korean and International
demonstration teams. Various
demonstrations included self defense, empty-hand forms and weapons
techniques. Spectators were particularly
impressed with Korean children’s demo team as they displayed incredible
acrobatics, high falls, and athleticism.

2008 Hapkido Seminar with Grandmaster In Sun Seo
Korea trip participants experienced
direct training with Grandmaster In Sun Seo in Busan, South Korea.
In addition to teaching many different
Hapkido techniques, Grandmaster Seo focused on foundational principles of self
defense including balance, ki power, rotation and proper stances.
We thank all those who participated in 2008 trip and look forward to
the next trip in 2010!
