On August 5-6, 2006, GM In Sun Seo taught a two day intensive seminar to over 100 participants. This event was hosted by Master John Murphy and World Kido Federation members from US, Canada and Panama along with other Hapkido practitioners participated.

GM Seo taught fundamentals of Hapkido techniques as well as focusing on the different particulars on executing an effective joint lock, pressure point and palm techniques.

Master Steve Seo and Master Johnny Pak, who assisted GM Seo, also taught different Hapkido forms and sword forms to the participants.

2006 Korea Trip

The WKF/Hanminjok Hapkido Association hosted over 100 participants for the 2006 Korea Trip. The highlight of the trip was the 5th International Martial Arts Championship and Masters’ Exhibition held on April 16, 2006 at Dong Eui University Gymnasium in Busan. The Championships drew over 1000 competitors competing in Sparring, Forms, Weapons, Self Defense and Nakbup competition. The Championships and Master’s Exhibition was broadcasted on Korean National television (MBC/ESPN).

Also during this Korea Trip, the participants had a private tour of the Blue House(Chung Hwa Dae), visited Kyong Ju historical sites, visited the Hanminjok Hapkido Headquarters school in Seoul, received a special seminar from Grandmaster In Sun Seo, and had the opportunity to learn traditional Korean Archery and Sword Cutting techniques. The following member organizations were part of this WKF trip: National Korean Martial Arts Association (NKMAA) , International Combat Hapkido Federation (ICHF) , International ChosonDo Federation (ICF), Hapkido Brothers, Great Lakes Hapkido, Progressive Martial Arts, Gong In Hapkido (Spain) an Susinkwan Hapkido (Ecuador).
